Assessments are examinations conducted by our registered therapists to determine how a child or youth thinks, learns and behaves. This can provide helpful recommendations for parents, schools, teachers, doctors, hospitals, caregivers and lawyers.

Types of assessments include:

  • African Canadian File Review This review use a critical and cultural lens specific to the individual when conducting an overview of the file or situation.

  • High Conflict Reviews: These reviews identify the nature and severity of a conflict and can also work to navigate the issues.

  • Supervised Access Assessments: Our team provides a safe environment for children to visit with their non-custodial parent in a community. The supervisor provides a summary of the visit, and works to meet the child's and family's needs.
