Child Welfare SERVICES

Millan & Associates provides access to competent mental health and wellness services that are respectful, equitable and collaborative. Millan delivers holistic, professional, timely and accessible services that are focused on resilience, community and safety.

To address any noted disparities within child welfare, Millan has aligned with de-colonization strategies in our role as helpers. Our anti-racist, culturally competent services and care include a social-determinants-of-health approach that is client driven, sustainable, adaptable and flexible.

Intersectionality is a priority for Millan, as issues pertaining to race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, violence, religion, immigrant status and gender often factor into the services we provide.

Our services provide accountability, transparency and evidence-based approaches within various communities. Specific services and feedback mechanism have been created to address the historical relationships, disparities and disproportionalities for Indigenous Peoples in partnership with the community and African Canadians that reside in the diaspora.
